Femininity is measured to be the essential concern in the process of development. Therefore, investment in women’s empowerment in Pakistan is the key factor in improving the economic, political and social conditions in Pakistan, Women empowerment mostly for Punjab in the context of sustainable development. Approaching and knowledge of both men and women is needed for ‘development’ to be more successful and sustainable. Hence decision making processes for women empowerment. valuation planning and policy formulation should emphasis on main streaming gender equality around the Pakistan.

Women empowerment is not limited to control over imitation or financial freedom only, rather it is a grouping of literacy, employment and health. Women empowerment is an important and functional concept in the development of a community as it represents women as active agents rather than inactive recipients of development policies.

Lots of studies finish off that if women are provided access to education, employment and health then they have more control and power over family resolution, improved child well-being, income, compact richness rates and increased resources. These studies have shown that women empowerment has a positive relation with the well-being of children and lead to the overall betterment of the family.

The Gender is used to measure the various proportions of gender empowerment in Pakistan.  Represents the level of difference that exists between women and men through the gaps in different indicators, irrespective of our level of social economic development.

A critical analysis exposed that Sindh has the highest value for economic contribution and chances, which is by NWFP, Baluchistan andPunjab. SincePunjabhas the lowest value, this means that this district has the maximum gender gap in economic participation and opportunities.
